Candle Care

1. NEVER LEAVE A CANDLE BURNING UNATTENDED
PLEASE BE SURE TO ALWAYS HAVE AN EYE ON YOUR BURNING CANDLES AT ALL TIMES. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN AND PETS AND ALWAYS BURN YOUR CANDLES IN A SAFE VENTILATED AREA AWAY FROM ANYTHING FLAMMABLE.
2. FIRST BURN
When lighting your candle for the first time let it burn for at least 2-4 hours or until the wax has melted across the diameter of the jar. Burning your candle for at least 2-4 hours prevents wax build up on the sides of your jar, wax rings, and allows the wax to fully melt evenly down to the bottom.
3. TRIM YOUR WICKS
After each burn and after your candle has cooled down trim your wick to 1/4" at all times to prevent soot, mushrooming or a flame that is too large. An untrimmed wick from a previous burn can cause the previous carbon buildup to become dangerous and flammable! Please trim your wicks after every burn.
4. WHEN TO STOP BURNING YOUR CANDLE
Once your wax has reached 1/4'' of wax at the bottom and the wick has gotten really small discontinue use. Failing to do so may cause your jar or container to break, get burned through or start a fire. If there is a flame with no wax to burn it can become very hazardous! Use your candles with proper discernment!
5. SAFE BURNING
Keep your candle away from any ceiling fans, direct drafts or vents to avoid uneven burning, large flames or soot. If you light your candle and the flame is to high, extinguish the candle in the proper manner, let the candle cool down and trim the wick before relighting.
6. PROPER HANDLING
Burn your candle for only 2-4 hours at a time. Remember to extinguish your candle in the proper manner either with a candle snuffer or a wick dipper, (DO NOT blow out the flame). Place the lid over your candle and seal once flame is extinguished to prevent any wax spills. Handle your candle jar carefully as the jar will be hot if it has been burning for 4 hours.
7. NEVER MOVE A BURNING CANDLE!
Remember to always burn your candle safely and never move a burning candle. When lighting your candles please keep in mind that the JARS ARE HOT! Always burn candles on flat, leveled, heat resistant surfaces!
8. WHEN TO REMOVE CRYSTALS
For candles with crystals inside please remove these items as safe as possible. Methods of removal can be removing it before you light the candle, letting it sink to the bottom and removing it at the end, or watching your candle to see when the wax is melted enough to remove with a spoon. Please extinguish the flame before removal.
Lastly, ENJOY YOUR CANDLES! :)
